Responding to a motion tabled by opposition deputy Mustafa Gazalci concerning claims that the works of Adnan Hoca were being distributed in schools Education Minister Huseyin Celik said this was not the case.

Celik denied that his ministry had granted Adnan Oktar, publicly knows as Adnan Hoca, permission to give conferences, or to distribute his books and films at schools.

Adnan Hoca has brought out many books, one of the most recent being a glossy series of encyclopaedia aiming to refute the creation theory of Charles Darwin.
