ANKARA - Turkey’s current account deficit continues to blow out, according to figures released by the Turkish Central Bank after markets closed Thursday.
The current account deficit increased by $3.1 billion in November, the last month for which data was available, the Central Bank report said.
According to the report, the current account deficit rose 54.3 percent between January and November 2006 compared to the same period the previous year, totally $29.9 billion.
